Coverage, Consistency and Comparisons. The coverage is definitely nice. It takes very little as the manufacture suggests but perhaps one and half pumps rather than the one they claim. It has slightly more coverage than MUFE HD, Nars Sheer Glow, Armani Luminous Silk, but similar coverage that of Laura Mercier Silk Creme but without the heavy feeling of that foundation. It blends very easily but you must work quickly in sections and with your fingers (imo). This foundation definitely feels very nice on the face.
Color. My color in Sheer Glow and all Nars products is Gobi. Naturally I purchased Gobi in this foundation as well but surprisingly found that it was a hair darker than all their other gobi shaded foundations. I can make it work by brining it down my neck but I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I wasn’t initially pretty irritated by the shade not matching.
Packaging. This foundation comes in a glass bottle with a pump. It is nice packaging but definitely not travel friendly for breaking reasons. Thankfully since there is a pump there isn’t much to report about packaging. I will note that the pump does allow control of how much you make each pump produce of product. Great control.
I definitely feel that this foundation is far more high definition than Make Up For Ever HD foundation is. I would say this is my second favorite foundation under my It Cosmetics CC Cream. Sadly it did break my skin out. I suspected that Nars Sheer Glow broke me out as well but never really knew if it was the foundation for sure even after two bottles of it. So after a month of testing this foundation out I think for non sensitive skinned people this foundation could be perfect for spring!
